Before, during and after leg lengthening or leg deformity surgery how does the Doctors measure that the two legs are equal in length - Do they use x-rays to do that?

Yes they do.  They'll take a full standing x-ray of you after you're done lengthening to make sure the legs are even, before they take off the frames.

How much you've turned is notoriously inaccurate.

How precise is it ? do they just check the x rays with the nked eye ?

iidk about other countries, but in new york,  the x rays are integrated with sophisticated computer analysis software and automatically measure  lengths,etc

X ray which they pull up on computers and analyze. Eyeballing it would be pretty crude.
