my proportions and plans
« on: January 08, 2015, 05:58:06 PM »

Hey guys,

i'm a new a member on the forum, i've already have some plans with ll, but first here are my stats:
21 years old, male
morning height: 173,5 cm evening height: 172 cm
weight: ~75 kg
Wingspan: ~180 cm
sitting height: 90-91 cm
inseam is 30 inch !max!
my plan is 7 cm internal femur lengthening and 5 cm external tibia lengthening. so my final height would be 184-5 cm, that would be awesome for me...
what do think about my plans and my (current and future) proportions?

Insufficient information: you should measure your arms from middle finger to acromion bone and post one or more pictures preferably photoshopped with longer legs. 12CM is a lot of lenghtening so your proportions will most likely be unbalanced. However the biggest issue is your arms when doing such a large amout -they will certainly be too small for your new height but wether or not it will still be acceptable we'd have to see images to say with any certainty. Finally rememer that your legs will be very long and it is possible that your frame will not be able to carry that off very well.

Good luck we all start of ambitious but some of us do get that 10+ amount and are happy with it. Most settle for less though -if you really need to lenghten that much two surgeries is the only way to do it and that is already a huge commitment.

Thank you for your answer, Uppland! I've measured my arm length (hope i did it right), the result was ~78 cm. I did some other measuring too: from the floor to the belly button: 102-103 cm, from the belly button to the top of the head: 70 cm, and from the floor to the tip of the middlefinger: ~60 cm
I also maked a 12 cm mockup (i've lengthened the femurs and the tibias too): http://i.imgur.com/n6HhmDj.jpg

Cut that by 4 and u'd look normal, u don't look that much strange at 12, but at 8 u'd look better

If that's you at 184CM then I am impressed because I think you look completely normal. Congratulations if that picture is anything to go by you have perhaps the best proportions I have ever seen. Personally I doubt I could even do 10CM but you pull of 12 without looking bad at all.

If you really measured your arm lenght correctly then they are as long as my dad and he is 187CM.

I say go for it man -there are a thousand and one other concerns with this surgery but I think you have the proportions handled. You could probably be 186-188 if you really wanted to (but I wouldn't recommend lengtening that much).

If you were just an average person looking at that you couldnt pay them $1000 to guess what is 'wrong' with the photo.

You look fine with 12 cm.

You will have long legs like hundreds of millions of other normal men but that's it. Your proportions look just great after a 12 CM increase, you are very lucky in this regard but remember that lenghtening that much is not a walk in the park.

Thanks for all answers, guys! I really hope i can go for 12 cm! I don't want to go above 7 cm per segment, so that's my problem with the 8 cm, it's just too much in my opinion. (and two surgeries for 8 cm is madness, i think). i've took some photos in clothes and shoes, so i'll make these mockups soon. i'm also thinking about the doctors, maybe dr Guichet would be the best choice for femurs, and Dr Salameh or Dr Bagirov for tibias. What do u think?

Guichet is well respected and my first choice also. He is expensive though so bear that in mind, you're right in staying below 7CM -I actually think 6CM should be the maximum but what do I know?

Looks completely normal. No body would know what you've done unless you tell them

Yes you look completely normal. Good, now I know I would look normal as well at 188CM if I lenghtened my arms 3CM.

Take of the excess clothes, shoes too. I can lengthen to 6'1 when clothed. nked or beach shorts? Not so much
