bones
« on: January 04, 2015, 09:29:15 AM »

hey. im not interested in writing a diary. I will give a review when I am finished. please don't ask for any information.

my goal with this bone diary is to post my x rays and get feedback.

I am a little concerned with my x ray. the alignment seems to possibly not be right. im not sure.

I will post some x rays soon.

You could upload the pictures to an image hosting site like imgur or turboimagehost and then paste the img link in the message form.

I am doing external monorail.

my main concern when I originally wanted to post the x rays was that the left leg looks like it could be misaligned as the top bone is not in line with the lower bone at the break.

HOWEVER,.....

after careful analysis and like 50 times magnification or whatever, I think it has become clear that the actual bone is in line and that the x ray has a bright line going down it at a rather inconvenient and coincidental location. this xray bright white line that is not bone connects to the outer part of the bone on the x ray and gives the illusion that the bone is thicker than it really is (for the left leg, front view).

its hard to see without the magnification.

however I think I have magnificent callus. does anyone think that I should speed up to avoid premature consolidation?

it looks normal

i think my callus is forming stronger..

based on the x-rays u can see the colour is around the same as the normal bone!

i think you should NOT speed up lengthening...

your callus appears average-weak
