Is this story true or is it just a big made up hoax to make fun of Dr. Paley?

Apparently a lady is now crippled for life thanks to Dr. Paley and she says that no one makes it out of his surgery in one peace.

Keep in mind, mistakes occur. Whether it's a lack of preparation, defect, or the body's pure refusal of lengthening, all doctors are prone to crippled patients. In turn, it ruins their life even more and they share their experiences of it. As for people who are successful for lengthening, they share it in the forum. What bothers me is that she doesn't appear in any other LL sites other than her own, but it's our big step to take this risk and see what the LL experience is for ourselves.

She's not adding to her credibility by saying he tried to "kill" her because living in a wheelchair "shortens" your life, or that he made her into a "drug addict" by prescribing her pain pills, which she probably whined and begged for.

A bunch of hyperbole from a crazy person is what this sounds like. People like her are why Dr. Mitkovic was so hesitant to operate on me.

to get crippled from this surgery..

i suppose its possible... but very difficult.... its tough going, but at the end, almost everyone is ok... maybe not 100% , but certainly functional

can't blame drug addiction on doctors... i was taking a ton of tramadol while lengthening , and now i take none, as I'm in no pain

he was also involved in an affair with the exfix representative which was his gf (agreed to earn some profits from exfix, hidden from the hospital), and thus sacked from the baltimore hospital and then he became divorced as a result.

Yeah I agree. The only reason why that rodent crazy 6 was crippled for life is he did 7" on his tibias. He now looks like a dwarf on stilts.

She might have some garden variety complaints but she fits the profile of a drug addict. Someone who might be bipolar or have other mental / emotional issues.

I am sure Paley will up his psych screening for future patients.

Did he? I know he went from 5'4" to 5'11". But you have to realize the most one can lengthen w/o major complications is 5" and probably 4" for someone like Amit (Crazy 6) since he's super short to begin with.

You'd think so but there was one person who was not "all there" I was surprised Paley allowed.

Regardless that story never struck me as being very legitimate... And if one is concerned about paleys legitimacy, then your LL options are pretty much nonexistent.

Something people got to realize is that all doctors even competent ones will have patients with bad stories. Not everyone is going to have a positive experience with every doctor regardless whether they are good or bad.

He did two things wrong:
1) His doctor, Dr. Sarin, is a piece of garbage whom likely neglected Crazy +6.
2) He lengthened five inches in his tibias.
