Scheduling Surgery in Advance

How far in advance does one need to schedule LL surgery? I am considering scheduling for the first week of June 2015. I'm guessing there is still time to schedule right now, but I am still in the research phase of deciding doctor and if I want to do it. What's the latest I could wait before scheduling, without losing the ability to do it the first week of June?

That varies considerably depending on which doctor you choose.  Dr. Peng is probably your best bet for short-notice surgery.  It only took me a few weeks from first contacting Wang Bei to being on the operating table.
