I say go for your dream, man! If you feel like you are really a 185 CM guy in a 179 guy's body, then, by all means, go for it. If it really won't help your self image, then save the time and money. But I really don't think going to 185 will give you unnatural proportions. You said on old forum that everyone is naturally proportional, but not everyone has the same proportions. Well, there are 185 CM guys with 93 CM sitting heights. They aren't as uncommon as you might think. And there are quite a few guys around whose legs are longer than their whole upper bodies. There are even Caucasian/European men with these proportions, naturally. Take, for example, Conan O'brien:
He's
only rich and famous, but he doesn't look that bad. I see guys with legs like his, or longer, so often that I sometimes wonder if LL is secretly super common lol.
In theory, once you're fully recovered, you will have the proportions of an Olympic runner. Not bad, eh? My dream height is also 188 CM. That's my dad's height, which I never even came close to. With 2 LL's though, maybe, it can be a reality. We just have to look at the proportions glass (sorry for the lame analogy) half full. If people point out long legs, we can say that they're awesome, and make us crazy fast (if soft tissue is fully recovered, this would be an anatomical reality, given you're in shape). Plus it has to be at least a bit entertaining if people pick on you for being short while sitting down, and then you stand up and suddenly tower over them and get to see the look on their faces change. There are plenty of stories like this on the internet. Just google "long legs man short torso", it's very reassuring.
And, you'll be able to tell yourself that genetics and nature couldn't stop you from becoming the person you wanted to be.
