Height- Metabolism, Calories, Exercise

Websites often have calculators that ask for your height to determine some particular requirement or quantity. Would a post-LLer be wise to use the natural pre-op height, post-op, or an extrapolation of somewhere in between. For example, on a site estimating daily caloric requirement, which would be better to use?

I'd imagine you'd probably use pre op height, but I'd shoot Dr. Paley or someone an email for an informed opinion.

The funny part is if you went to a doctor they'd probably use your post op height!

Post Op. After all, that is your real height. Your body determines your energy needs based on the requirements of your current body, not what it used to be years ago.

yup u have mre bones and soft tissue now and that = energy requirements.
so being tall is good! u can eat more!
