Honestly, I haven't experienced something that's intolerable. But you may start getting some emotions (crying, regretting, or kinda angry lol) as many people have said.

I will describe the pain as the kind that's more lengthy instead of intense (sorry I'm really kinda dizzy, don't know how to put it in words...)

It isn't intolerable, yes, but it is very annoying if you don't get painkillers. It's just like you can't fall asleep if there are bugs around you.
