If you happen to be at a transition point in life it's not too bad actually.

You can always make new friends after LL, find a new clique, new job, new people in general etc. But if it's family then it's a different story altogether.

Personally I lost so much of my social life after going through LL (being isolated and all) that I'll probably have to start all over again once Ive recovered. So majority of people i'll be meeting after LL won't be people who know me prior to LL.

That's sad.

Sad, uh. It depends.

For me, I kept close friends and if they were close enough to keep, there were close enough tell them about LL.

For the 99% of the other acquaintances/semi-friends I am okay with just disappearing for a good 6-9 months.
