Lengthening Recovery Time

Guys I have a Question
If I will go for Conventional Ilizarov External Fixator Method then How Much time needed for Recovery if I want to increase 5cm in Tibia When I can get back to Normal Life.

You'll be able to go home around 4-6 months. You probably won't be able to do any intense sports for about a year.

You should be able to weightbear after 6 months, so you can walk around with the exfix but to get the frames removed, you'll probably need another 2.5 months and after the removal you will be using crutches for a few weeks. So it will take you around 9 months to get back to normal life.

Also you could recover faster or maybe you need even longer, it really depends on how much you weightbearing you do. So walk, walk, walk!
