i just want to respectfully clarify a few things:

1 ned_flanders is doing LL himself and satisfying his own desire of vanity but doing fear mongering for other future patients. according to him, this community is a lying delusional community full of crazy people who put vanity before healthy bodies, but he has gathered enough courage to do LL in the first place from reading diaries of patients for so many years.
2 i thought if he really thought LL was a bad idea he should stop it. LL is not for everyone. i was respecting him that he was able to forget LL and go back and live as a good human being. but he wants to lengthen his own legs but put  claims by speculating things to convenience his mood swings.
3. LL is VERY WORTH it if you are ok with some loss in athletic ability. for one, getting used to longer legs in sports is just weird. secondly after LL u get a bit scared of pushing urself to extreme and stressful workouts. u are simply happy to walk normally again. most people just want to get back to normal life after LL and forget about working super hard towards atheltic recovery. thirdly, agility is just something i think you should train with an expert to get back.

i am still not sure if he is going through some mood swings  due to lengthenig but if he is, he should really control himself and write more rationally.

good luck to all. just know when to stop lengthening, it is not a game of numbers...

i am sorry for any hurtful language if i have used. I know LL is a trying procedure for ned_flanders. i just hope people show gratefulness to having an internet community for this problem we all had / have - and respect that many people are wiling to take risks and document their journeys to help others. would you have had the courage to do CLL without this forum?

if u want to dig up other peoples recovery videos and point issues its ok, at least have a civilised discussion. dont speculate and make 100 unrelated conclusions about their mental states. that is plain disrespectful.

Fodawupa stop putting words in my mouth. I never said or wanted half of the things you wrote about me.

Anyway,
I am really sorry for making harsh posts that offended people here. I regret it.
Words cannot be taken back, unfortunately.

I have realized I can't change this place to the way I want, regulation. Stricter enforcement of lengthening limits. Psychological vetting of patients. Accountability and blacklisting of malpracticing surgeons (Sarin, All russian doctors, Armenia etc). In addition to this I had other ideas to self-regulate the CLL community.
I am afraid at this rate, with all the permanently damaged patients, lawsuits and so on, sooner or later the governments in the western world are going to crack down on this, then nobody will be able to get CLL. Except for in the non-western countries ofcourse, where most of the malpractise happens.

Anyway, I am soon done with my lengthening and its gonna be very little. Maybe even the shortest lengthening of all the diaries here (except I dont have a diary :P)
I wish everyone luck in the future whatever they do,
start loving yourself. Height does not define a person. A person consists of so many aspects, height is just one of them. I finally understand OldieButGoldies post, right from the mouth of your own 'LL-legends' who did 5cm or so :

Just look around. Look at friends of yours who are short but happy. Look out at a party for short guys who laugh and who are happy. You can find short happy people EVERYWHERE.
And you can find tall UNHAPPY people everywhere.
And you can find fat happy people everywhere.
And slim unhappy people.
And so on an so on.
Wake up !!
Itś all in your mind.
Height is NOT the key to happiness.
Try to learn to be happy that you have a healthy functioning body!!
Dońt waste your precious time with this.
This is my final statement.
Over and out.

 ;)
