I reside in America for studies, I planned a surgery date of 1st-3rd Febuary with Dr.Kulesh and Solomin. Unfortunately my passport (non US) could not be processed for Russian visa before my flight back home on December 21st for Christmas holidays so the company that I sent my visa to (for processing it) shipped it back to me informing me that my visa process has to take the default time because of my passport (My NON US passport can not be rushed)

It also didn't help that Dr.Kulesh did not do anything for helping me secure a visa invitiation and the third party Russian visa invitations were not accepted on rush with my passport so I got pretty screwed.

I even booked my flight but luckily I was able to cancel that and get my refund. It was quite devastating though, now I will apply for the Russian again when I am back from home on Febuary. Get the surgery in March if all goes well

I still consider Russia a valid option because its cheap and has good reputation of Doctors. I also favor places where I get to be with other leg lengthening patients. Apparently Dr.Barkinov has specific accomodation for that where you share with other foreign and local leg lengthening patients. Don't know much about how that is in 2018 though. If there are other places like that please do share info guys. I searched and lurked around this forum quite a lot and the old forum (tons of useful info on both forums) and there are a lot of diaries

I like the idea of going through the journey of LL with other people doing the same as you. It's more supportive that way. Yeah LL at the end of the day is an individual fight of blood sweat and tears but there is no doubt that meeting people in the same shoes as you would really help your own sanity. Maybe even motivate you when you're lazy..ahh! that depends on your mindset as well but you get the jist of it

..my current height is 6'1 and I'm trying to get 6'3. Lengthen 5cm, maybe 6cm if I can and be (6'3.5). I want to get into professional modelling and want that extra 2 inches to stand out from the rest. Its quite vain when most people here are under 5'7 but to each their own. I've had a few other surgical procedures too so I don't see why I shouldn't go for the final nail in the coffin that is leg lengthening

First of all, you need to plan more accordingly, you seem to be rushing your time lines. Second of all, after tibia lengthening you will have some very noticeable scars and you can say good bye to proffessional modeling after that. With a good face, physique and being 6’1 i doubt you would have any trouble in the modeling career but with nasty scars its game over. Think about it and goodluck with everything. Btw, in the file that Dr Kulesh sends it clearly states they dont offer invitation letters so please dont blame them for your mistake.

Hey Jim nice to see you are still around. Really enjoyed reading your dairy and was quite informative

6'0 is the average height of most male models I see (contary to the popular beleif of 6'2). 6'0.5 is enough to set the score however if you want to stand out taller then 6'3 is way better

The problem with a lot of 6'3 and beyond dudes is that their faces tend to grow a lot too, usually in an unaesthetic way (due to their oral posture) where the face just becomes too long due to the downward growth. Even if their maxilla is forward

Anyway, I have not really read about this but I have to ask..do you feel content with the amount you lengthened? Or do you wish you did more
