Is being less weight any advantage for LL?
« on: December 17, 2018, 12:35:10 PM »

So I’m wondering is there any advantage that comes with being light when considering LL. Being 4’11 Im 44kgs (falls in a fit catogory, good BMI) I know starting off so short is a disadvantage, but was wondering if being less bulky n light might help in anyway. I’m considering ex tibias but might change my decision to internal femur, still not sure.

No disadvantage

Well developed calf muscles always help though but according to Dr.Gio (forgot his full name some UK doc) Asian females are likely to have more complications due to different muscle bony proportions

Some like Dr Franz say more muscle is not advantageous in LL, flexibility is

Its a no quantitative thing

But what I know for sure is that the leg muscles tend to atrophy quite badly during the recovery process so having good muscle definition would 100% help prevent the atrophy to a degree

That and flexibility which girls have more range of than guys

Dr. Köhne recommended not building too much muscles and instead work on stretching and flexibility
