That should be the least of your worries if you are doing CLL - specially with how often CLL doctors ask for CT scans instead of plain film x-rays. Some also do no gonadal shielding at all, to boot.

You need to worry about osteomyelitis, fat embolism syndrome and pulmonary embolism, and watch for malunions and nonunions.

Nerve damage is also a serious worry.
