@hallijah

During models'parade or photo shoot, they have to be the same height, because no one's head should ever be higher or lower than any other models.
If you're taller than 190 cm or shorter than 183 cm, then you don't stand a chance, whether you're very good looking or not and in fact, agencies have very rigid requirements for the models, height is not the only one of course.
Moreover, there are a lot of candidates, whom i believe, are atleast 183 cm and good looking, so someone who is slighty shorter than 183 cm, even by 2 or 3 cm, will be rejected because the concurrence is so strong.

The reason modeling agencies have height requirements is because the greatest male model was 5'7 and he ruined their plan to have child labor in Malaysia with his Magnum look. They're also jealous that none of the taller models can pull off this range.

You guys are delusional. No one of you will ever be a successful male model. Stop dreaming and try to enjoy life.

Bienvenu!  We'll continue in english if you don't mind!

Yes Dr. G does operate on taller patients, there is a testimony on his site of a 1m78 guy from a Nordic country.  Altho the op is 44000 euros he states that "It is recommended that patients budget €58,000 to €65,500 depending on your spending habits and needs while living in France."  Or Italy now.

So yes, as you said, external is a good option and a whole lot cheaper too, if you can bear living 6-7 months with frames on!
