Oh wow, you met him in person! Proportion-wise how does him look in irl?
Frankly, he looks incredible. He did get arm lengthening to match his legs (he doesn't think anyone who gets the standard 8+5 lengthening should do that-- feels it's overkill). And when we walked, he looked perfectly normal. He also has naturally muscular lower legs, which also further softens aesthetic discrepancies.
However, this is me meeting him 10 years after the fact, and he stressed to me over and over again about the following:
- There's not nearly as many 6ft+ guys as we're led to believe. Just a TON of 5'10 / 5'11 guys claiming that.
- Women have no idea what 6ft actually means. They think anything over 5'10 is 6ft.
- The idea that people over 6ft don't lie about their height is bs. Guys who claimed to be 6'2 were actually 6', and the guys who claimed to be 6'4 were actually 6'2.
He was frustrated because he did more extending than necessary and only discovered the above after he was walking around society crutchless. Like if he knew the above before, he would have called it quits at 6ft. Reason being his life was put on hold for more time than it was worth. Felt just making it to 6ft would be the min max for him.
Tbh part of me wants to make a post just sharing all the I learned from him (it was gold), but I know there's lots of hard feelings and I don't want to get caught in the crossfire.
