Becker allowing 10 cm on tibia?
« on: January 14, 2025, 03:10:32 PM »

I'm following Le Tremba on IG which is going for his second surgery, this time on tibia.
I found it particularly strange that Dr. Becker is allowing this massive lengthening of 10cm on the tibia, it's quite insane from what I learned.
So I thought, is there here on the forum a diary of tibia with that amount of lengthening? I would be curious to read it but I couldn't find anything similar, I only know Apotheosis who did a similar amount in the past.

I've personally met Apotheosis, who did maximum amount on both tibs and femurs.

He regrets doing more than the recommended 5/6cm on tibia, citing a rough and annoying recovery.

10 cm on tibias is just asking for problems. Don't do it. Becker "allowing" it should not be taken as anything.

Doc will always advise the safe length.
The patient was not listening and kept on clicking at home despite the warning.
So, if you are the doctor -- what can you do?
Are you going fly to the patient's home and beg him not to click anymore?...LOL

Frankly, he looks incredible. He did get arm lengthening to match his legs (he doesn't think anyone who gets the standard 8+5 lengthening should do that-- feels it's overkill). And when we walked, he looked perfectly normal. He also has naturally muscular lower legs, which also further softens aesthetic discrepancies.

However, this is me meeting him 10 years after the fact, and he stressed to me over and over again about the following:

- There's not nearly as many 6ft+ guys as we're led to believe. Just a TON of 5'10 / 5'11 guys claiming that.
- Women have no idea what 6ft actually means. They think anything over 5'10 is 6ft.
- The idea that people over 6ft don't lie about their height is bs. Guys who claimed to be 6'2 were actually 6', and the guys who claimed to be 6'4 were actually 6'2.

He was frustrated because he did more extending than necessary and only discovered the above after he was walking around society crutchless. Like if he knew the above before, he would have called it quits at 6ft. Reason being his life was put on hold for more time than it was worth. Felt just making it to 6ft would be the min max for him.

Tbh part of me wants to make a post just sharing all the   I learned from him (it was gold), but I know there's lots of hard feelings and I don't want to get caught in the crossfire.

Why would you do 10cm on one leg. People who did over 6cm in one leg report muscle tightness and the feeling of wearing shoes two sizes too small. Maybe I'm wrong but we're stretching the limit of how much muscle tissue, nerves and cells our body allocates for our body. At 10cm I can't imagine being able to walk more than 10 minutes like you'll be quasi disabled at that point and the cons would outweigh the pros.

Only a butcher would let 20cm lengthening in tibias and ruin someone for life.

There’s another crazy dude doing 20 cm called Le_Tremba on Instagram, he did 10 cm femur with live life taller and now he went for another 10 cm on tibia with Becker. He is documenting everything on TikTok as well

Yes, I was mentioning him. I knew only about the betzbone on the femur, but nothing about the one on the tibia allowing to lengthen that much, oh my lord...

How did you meet Apotheosis? Does he have an online presence nowadays?
