You are going to be in pain in discomfort for months, did you not do any research or read any diaries prior to getting it? can you be specific on the type of pain?

A lot of people say that the pain subsides in intensity after about 1-3 weeks. Just do your physiotherapy and take pain medication if necessary and you’ll be fine soon enough.

When you put such a question here, first you must tell details about the type of surgery and on which segment is done !
Also your current height and weight...

My first two weeks were spent in an 85+ degree Russian hospital with two broken tibia bones grinding against each other. It would take me 30+ minutes to get up and lug my ilizarov frame down the hallway to simply to take a leak. So if this is real, then I need to send you a Pikachu-face t-shirt.

You're in for a ride lol. Pain doesn't really go away until you've finished lengthening. That being said, the worst of the pain due to the swelling will go away after a few weeks.

I'm about a year after surgery, I had precice but even then the pain isn't completely gone. Just a minor ache every so often these days.

If femurs just like your name. If tibia I’ve heard people say it hurt bad and more than femurs but it was actually way easier than femurs for me. But then again, I am doing LATN so they didn’t insert a nail for me yet

Is Assayag's plan to insert nail right at the end of distraction?

He gave me options. I believe it’s the safest method from what I’ve read, aside / behind keeping the fixes on the entirety.
