New LiveLifeTaller Video on YouTube
« on: November 11, 2024, 05:17:00 PM »

Hey everyone,

I just saw a new video from LiveLifeTaller: Their marketing is impressive compared to the negative stuff I've read here.

They show many patients who had successful results and can even run after the procedure. This makes me really want to take the risk with them. My visa limits me to Europe, and my budget is 50k.

If they’re really that dangerous, why do they have so many successful cases on their YouTube channel?

Thoughts?

Firstly it's called marketing for a reason; it's very easy to create an illusion that all is well even if they had tons of bad outcomes.

I'm not using actual numbers by any means, but let's say they lengthen 1,200 people a year and half of them do well and the other half have huge complications. That's still 600 good results to work with for your advertising videos and it will make their service look amazing despite it being a 50/50 russian roulette getting the surgery there. Even if the odds were tipped against your favor with a 75% "disaster" rate, if they can sweep all that under the rug will still have 300 success cases to use in videos.

Second, the guy in that video only lengthened one part of his leg and a modest amount less than 3 inches. Complication rate and recover from that compared to guys that go extreme and hit 5-6 inches is literally night and day. Honestly minus the video you just posted pretty much all of the recovery videos I saw from them were very flimsy and not convincing. Mostly showing people on walkers and walking really weird after recovery. Like that Dynzell Sigers guy who went from 5'5 to 5'11 his walk was nowhere near normal in their marketing videos. Nor does he even look 5'11 to me, take away his ballerina foot condition he looks 5'10 or even 5'9. Yet the hype videos were claiming he was now a 180cm "6 footer" 180cm aint even a full 5'11 it's about 5'10 and 3/4.

Then you have the B. Sanchez case where he went from 5'11.75 to 6'6 (probably 6'5 in reality factoring ballerina foot) there were no follow up success stories about him showing him walking and how much he is enjoying his new life as the tallest guy in the room 99% of the time. That one was likely a disaster because they allowed him to over-lengthen like crazy; at most he should have done 1 segment to hit 6'2 max, (2.25 inch gain) due to his already tall starting height and his massive body weight.

LLT has not shown me nearly enough videos to gain my confidence in their abilities but I have seen enough over-hype marketing and negative stories to be incredibly suspicious of them. From what I've heard as much as they charge now you may as well not take the chance. But it's up to you of course.

This is definitely someone from their marketing team

As a prior patient, they pressure patients to show positive experiences. When I was removing my fixators, they tried forcing me to record a video with them to say good things.

LLT has good and bad cases. Even if their ratio is 75 or 80 to 25-20 % that’s not good enough. Plus they went from 15k euros to 30+ now which is a joke. Idk why anyone would pay that much for LON femurs at that price point. You will go through a huge amount of suffering to save 20-30 grand vs precice2.

If considering external femurs please change your mind

Thank you, I really appreciate your response, it convinced me and made a lot of sense. But for the love of God, can someone name a single reputable doctor in the US or Europe who shares before and after videos of their patients? I understand that top surgeons don’t need to do marketing or post these videos. But how can I risk my legs and life based only on word of mouth or forum posts saying a doctor is good? This is serious surgery, and any reputable doctor should be transparent enough to show clear results.

No reasonable person would trust their legs to a doctor without real proof. I’m sorry if I sound frustrated, but I’m at my breaking point. LLT was my hope because of the great result my best friend had with them, but now everything feels like it’s falling apart, and I’m back to square one. Please, I need a real solution. I have a $50K budget, I live in France, and I need 8 cm. Any advice would mean the world to me
