What kind of legs are ideal for surgery?
« on: July 26, 2024, 08:09:34 PM »

Out of curiosity, are you supposed to be physically "prepared" prior to the surgery? In other words, should you be more athletic and exercising more? I think I heard somewhere that the more muscular your legs are, the less of a hard time you'll have in recovery. Is this true? Wouldn't it make more sense to have more fat instead, as there would be less resistance?

From what I've been able to learn so far, the more flexible you/your legs are, the easier recovery should be. The muscles stretch during lengthening, so flexible (read: loose) muscle is favourable.  I don't know how muscularity impacts it all though, sorry.
