Hi, so I want to do LL, I already decided on it, going for 5cms I think, probably externals...but I can't go for it right now, I'm thinking about late 2015 early 2016 due do work/study.
Anyway, is there any point in keeping working out before going for LL? I'm not super muscular and I don't care that much about it either but it's always a plus, but I've heard many people that do LL end up losing a lot of weight, so it seems like I would lose all muscle I gained?
OTOH, I've read some doctors(guichet) actually encourage you to work out your legs before LL to give more support to the bones.
I'm also a bit afraid of getting too heavy, I'm skinny but I'm around 170lbs (78kgs), I'm not tall(around 5'10'', yeah I know some would say I'm already too tall but lets not digress) but I have long armspan and feet/hands/head so I'm somewhat heavy because of that and I'm concerned about weight bearing, but I'm sure heavier people did it before?
I wanted to keep working out and eating well during the LL, the upper body that is, and walking/bike for the lower legs.
Any help appreciated.
