Hey, sorry for the lack of update, I've been dialed in the last few weeks. Everything is going great, and I feel better and better.
It's been 21 days since the surgery and I'm nearly 2cm distracted already, by the end of next month, I should be 175cm.
I was a bit of a rare case, because of the amount of bone marrow I have I click incredibly easily. So easily my first click on my right leg was on the operating table(i was told). 3 days post OP I had already 60+ clicks on my right leg. Luckily my right leg was a little shorter than my right. Dr. Becker and his team have been amazing and were incredibly quick to change my rehab and medication to adapt to my rare situation. The amount of interactions/conversations I've had with Dr. Becker was something I did not expect going into this process and just shows how much care he puts into his practice. The level of care feels worth the cost of the procedure, for sure
There's a bunch of tips and tricked I've learned along the way that I'll share at some point when I have time
But right now I'm just focused on my schedule and keep my streak of decent nights sleep going(something that took me some time to figure out). My pain is little to none, I can walk really well and for long periods of time(on crutches), I still struggle with some discomfort at times, but its better and better every day.
