Assayag vs Debiparshad vs Mahboubian
« on: November 16, 2023, 07:06:27 AM »

Hi,

I intend to do 5 cm on the tibia using precise max in March/April 24. I want to do in US, but budget is max 80K. I see there are 3 surgeons in this range - Assayag, Mahboubian and Debiparshad. Who, among these 3, in your opinion is the best option? thank you for your valuable opinion.

We've seen more complications coming from Debiparshad than Assayag and Mahboubian. Assayag seems to be a better surgeon and overall more approachable.

Thank you very much. Also, do you think 80k (without living cost, PT etc. those I can take care) for the surgery is going to be sufficient to do precise max with Assayag? from his website as of today I see he was charing 71K for precise tibia, so I am guessing max should be available under 80k? thanks.

Most likely but let's wait for the max and see.

Where are you seeing complications from Dr. D? I haven’t seen any journal entries with complications.

I think anyone of them will give good results for femurs. Without taking into account the price, I would say Assayag == Mahboubian > Debiparshad.

I did my surgery with Mahboubian and am happy with the results. I've heard great things about Assayag. I'm less sure of Debiparshad, but, on paper, his credentials seem solid.

I will also say that 80K is not enough for Mahboubian. 80K will be about just enough to cover the initial surgery, but that doesn't cover PT, accommodations, and the nail removal surgery. Not sure what the prices are for Debiparshad and Assayag.
