will be getting LL in Russia for 6cm total (3cm femurs, 3 tibia)

my biggest problem is time spent without working (my gf could support me but I hate the idea)

how long after the surgery will I be able to walk decently again to the point of being able to work a very normal, non-intense job?

I think you don't understand this procedure just yet. I highly advise you read/learn a lot of it before undego this.

This IS NOT a regular cosmetic surgery. You will need months to walk again, let alone walk normally.
I wouldn't recommend quadrilateral, I would suggest you go for femurs only and do the 6cm there. Is safer.

I agree that for 6 cm total you better do only femurs.
Even though.. external femurs is pretty difficult.
till I would prefer to break only 2 bones instead of 6.
Recovery from tibia takes a lot longer than femurs, they say tibia consolidate at 1 month per cm, but I personally see a wide variation at this and it can be as much as 2 months per cm.
Perhaps 3 cm would take you 1-1.5 months (femur at 1mm per day) and 2 months tibia (0.75-1 mm per day), so let's say overall 2-2.5 months lengthening, then recovery can take 2-5 months (consolidation, with tibia being limiting factor). At the end of consolidation, if you work hard with physio, you might be able to walk kinda normally but not sign to MMA fights. So overall id say 6-7 months until you can go back to normal life.

doing 6cm on femurs only is absolutely going to fk up my biomechanics, I don't understand why people get such disbalances on their legs,

I would rather get 2,5cm femur and 2,5 tibia.
how would the recovery be for that length?

 Just do femurs way safer,cheaper and you be walking normally faster as well. If you just do femurs you are looking at 4-5 months post removal.

You can do the surgery for limb lengthening with dr. Yasser Elbatrawy in Cairo.The only sure is that you will never work like before,just because you will never walk normally again.I  did the surgery with him in 2019.Even now,i have daily problems and i am not able to work.But this is not the main problem.
The main problem is that he destroyed my both knees and tibias.I have problems on both legs and this shows how dangerous and irresponsible this doctor is.

Why would you do quadrilateral lengthening if you are planning to extend only 6cm.

There are many problems,not only one.The main problem is that his work caused a complex of deformities on my both knees and tibias.I can't walk normally.He also caused severe nerve damage on my right leg.He is very irresponsible and hasty.Most of his patients had problems with him!

i am thinking of applying for uber taxi for income. walking around all day at my current job is going to be difficult. at least with uber u dont need to stand as much. only carry luggage which i cant do lol

I mean why you can't just do femurs or tibias? 3+3 is really not a wise option. The procedure is more expensive.
