i agree there are butchers in many countries. I'M ONLY SAYING THAT in my humble experience, uysal is not one of them. do you have proof that he is?? then please post it. if not let's call a spade a spade and agree that you don't know his work and don't have proof of any negative reviews. which means you're talking outta your ass. I'm so sick of going over this.... PLEASE POST PROOF. ONE HORROR STORY INVOLVING UYSAL. SHUT ME UP. MAKE ME EAT MY WORDS. IF YOU CAN SHOW ME PROOF THAN I WILL GLADLY APOLOGIZE AND CONCEDE TO YOU HERE... ON THIS FORUM. BUT IF YOU CAN'T.... THEN YOU'RE A MOPE AND YOUR LACK OF PROOF SHOWS THAT. time to put your money where your mouth is boyo. and maybe victor hasn't run into any patients of uysal besides myself..?? ever consider that? are you victor's BFF? do you text him a lot and share music playlists? I'm guessing no... he's A VERY COOL GUY whereas you sound like a judgemental, fearful soccer mom.
i had mucho nerve damage. it happens. but it also goes away because the repair themselves. takes about 1.5 years till you won't notice
You, by your own admission, had a lot of nerve damage. (Mucho means "a lot" in English).
Nerve damage is not normal and is not good. Nerve damage may or may not heal, and if it does, often it's not 100%.
and wtf are u even talking about claiming that i claim to know more than cyborg??!! i don't! never claimed that i did. i scheduled a consult with him to inquire about rods and scars. Jesus you people are so anal and fussy! get a life
It was a rhetorical question to make you stop and think. Maybe you don't hold my opinion in high regard, but clearly you hold Victors in high regard or else you wouldn't pay $$$ for a consult. So if I can't break through to you, maybe Victor could.
and also many people took that same risk with me. around 30 to be exact. some did externals some did internals. all were informed of pros and cons. no complaints just success
to any newbies and potentials logging on to this site please take note... there are soooo many bitchy haters on here. in America we have a saying.."hatred gonna hatred".
You are clearly not from America because nobody says that. Literally nobody says that. Do you mean "Haters gunna hate"? Your grasp on the English language is poor, which is totally fine and I respect people trying to learn multiple languages, but now I have to admit I have just a
slight suspicion of this being a fake advertisement. Turkey is known for them. I'm not saying that this is, but the suspicion is now there.
precice is not fail proof. case in point: limbplastx in Las Vegas has a highly touted doctor who does mostly great work, but just this year there was a huge scandal involving a precice patient who had his entire femur re-break at the site of his precice internal implant.. yes you heard that right PRECICE...the so-called precice HOLY GRAIL that NEVER EVER EVER goes wrong. well guess what? something went wrong.. as frequently happens. but you adapt and regroup and WORK THRU IT.
Mind linking me to the case with LimbplastX? Also, I would never go to Dr. Debiparshad. Even Dr. Paley was calling him out for giving one patient(maybe more?) knock knees in one of his interviews with Cyborg4Life, which is entirely avoidable and is a rookie mistake.
in my case i have nerve pain. so what?? i own it. it's my fault because I wasn't always consistent with my lengthening protocol. who gives a fuuuckk. I'm getting better everyday. this too shall pass. man up. grow some balls. eat a red, very bloody steak. listen to some AC/DC. smoke a joint and have really loud sxx with your cute neighbor.... because i tell you this lads.... all this will fade. in 50 years no one will remember your name. this forum will be replaced and forgotten. we all die. all you have is this moment. carpe diem.
So what you're saying is, your Doctor wasn't actively monitoring your situation
and didn't stop the lengthening before the problem turned into full blown nerve damage? Part of being considered a "good" Doctor when it comes to Limb Lengthening isn't just the surgery, but the post-op recovery and healing. A "good" Limb Lengthening Doctor knows how to prevent certain complications from happening, or fixing them if they do happen, or at least lessen the problem to the greatest extent possible.
p.s. it's pretty common knowledge at this point but did any of you know that stryde had a recall???! what's this, you ask??! say it ain't so! ZOUNDS!!! but i thought internals were perfect??? i thought externals were so so so BADDDDDD?? omg I'm getting teary eyed. somebody hold me. wahhhh...
Nobody said internals were perfect. You've been making personal attacks and crying like a baby throughout this entire tantrum of yours. Please stay on topic.
The stryde nails were
voluntarily recalled. The FDA, nor any other government body, recalled or otherwise restricted the use of the STRYDE nail. It was entirely Nuvasive that voluntarily took the nail off of the market due to possible worries about, to put simply, rust forming at where the telescopic rod and the rod body met, with most believing that it was due to the friction of the metals rubbing against each other. Additionally, there was
not a single case of this potential worry negatively affecting patient outcomes. IE, non-unions, re-breaks, etc. All STRYDE patients ultimately finished their Limb Lengthening on track and with similar outcomes to STRYDE patients that did not experience this potential worry.
I'm unaware of any surgeon that recommends leaving the nail in, they all believe it should be removed which is typically done about a year after the initial procedure. Could it be an issue years down the road? Nobody knows, and we don't need to know, because the rods get taken out.
