LON tibias or Precice tibias
« on: February 20, 2023, 01:53:46 PM »

Which is the better option? Precice being stuck in wheelchair for months is a torture but LON tibias pain sounds like hell as well.

Go for Precice in any occasion. You're not running any marathons with LON anyway and the difference is negligible in the long term. 10x more comfort, less complications, less pain, the list goes on and on. LON is a modern day torture device idk what anyone says.

If you don't have a budget, lon is a better option. Precice is also a risky method. Magnetic nail may deteriorate or break. Lon will carry you even though you are 150 kg. Precice 50 kg etc.

I understand the scarring is also less with Precice than with LON/LATN?

Does anyone know if you can simultaneously fix bow legs with Precice tibia internals? I know that this is possible with LATN.
