Need Tips and Motivation to reach 8 cm goal
« on: May 15, 2023, 08:48:11 PM »

I did my surgery for femur internal PRECISE 2.2 about 2 months ago. Currently I am at 48mm and have a goal of 80mm I really want to reach. I lengthen 0.75mm/day. I take Xarelto 10mg every day, Gabapentin 300mg 4x/day, and Oxycodone (Perocet) 5mg 1-2 times a day. Along with a bunch of vitamins.

My lengthening schedule is 0.25mm about 3 times a day. First one when I wake up around 11 am. Second one usually 4-5 hours after. And last one 4-5 hours after around 9 pm. I stretch 30 mins per each session I lengthen and about 25 mins of strengthening exercise a day and 30 minutes of leg compression boots for blood flow.

I am just so exhausted and tired of this. I have about 45 days left at the current pace before I reach consolidation. And while I know it is not over at consolidation, it seems to be the promise land where things starts to get better (from what other people say). I have nerve pains, and my right leg has a weird range of motion loss, I'm not sure if it is from a muscle tear or what, but it's hard to turn it outwards.

Just wanted to see if anyone has any tips from what I should be doing differently from my current regime to make the last 30mm easier. I am so tired and exhausted. I'll literally pay $100k to skip the pain of this 30mm no joke.

Save up the (strong) pain medication throughout the day until you're about to go to sleep; and take multiple. Enough to ensure you're not feeling any significant pain so you can actually get sleep. Perhaps you'll be slightly less tired after getting a good rest. Unfortunately you may have to manage your pain using weaker pain medication throughout the day but it may be worth it.

Yes sleep helps so much obviously, the last 3 cm (Precice Femur) were also really tough for me and 90 deg knee bend was a struggle.
My only relief came when i dropped my daily rate to 0.5mm and even to 0.25 only really hard days, ofc this extends Your suffering but it reduced the peak pain and got me through the hardest days.

extend stretching sessions to 1hr and buy a deep tissue massage gun. do you have a PT? because they'll really push you physically and mentally. longer, aggressive rehab is always better and saves you pain in the long run. for people that lived a sedentary life with minimal strain and exercise, this process is a wakeup call. reaching 8cm is no joke even for highly flexible athletic people. but it can be done so get to fking work.

Sorry to hear you are tired and exhausted. I haven’t got the surgery yet so I have no idea. Maybe painkiller Oxycodone affects your emotional, maybe u don’t have enough sleep. I think more aggressive PT will help u regaining ROM. Hope everything is going better.

(May I ask: What is leg compression boots for femurs?)

I saw in another thread you have a good job/financial situation. You no doubt had to put in work and go through some tough times mentally to achieve that.

And height is so much more valuable than lots of money, so the same application again will yield even greater life benefits for you. Think about it, you probably had to go through years of college and crap initial jobs to get where you are now, while all you need to do for this is to suffer another 30-50 days, for an even greater benefit than that which took years to do.

Just stick with it. It's 30-50 bad days now or a lifetime of regrets later.

Nah I just got lucky with stocks. Studying isn't half as hard as limb lengthening. But for sure, I agree with you 100%, height is friggen valuable. You think going to the club someone is going to know what penthouse you own, or car you drive? No they see your face, the way you're dressed, your height, and then they talk to you. 100% agree this last 30mm is going to be so valuable, I'm just so tired over the last 2 months. I'm gonna keep fighting but any random tips past LL's have that can make life easier will be appreciated.

yeah man, i keep thinking about how in 5 months I'll be walking the streets normally as a good looking 6 feet man. Going to plan to WFH a month in Cancun in November already. But that doesn't change the fact that I wake up to hell every day. I lengthen every 4 hours and it seems like that 4 hours passes in 10 minutes. Like "omg is it time to stretch for 40 mins and lengthen again? no way"

Man it’s all relative. There’s always some “luckier” and someone “unluckier”. No reason to compare yourself to another limb lengthener.  We’re all here to get taller than the version of OURSELVES.

This post is asking for tips to make 5-8cm easier that has worked for previous patients. Not talking about who is luckier or what height they are.

And not some BS tip that I’m obviously already doing. “Stretch, sleep, take calcium” like cmon.

AAS. Assuming it's legal at your country of residence OTC. Can't say anything about Follistatin but you'd be insane to heal / go through rehab off cycle.

Psychologically the 4-5.5 cm part seems to be the hardest. It's a pain in the ass to get there and you're like, f*ck, I still have half to go through. I went through the same thing. It was mentally draining. I think the only thing that got me through it was the "one more day" mentality, but it was sheer hell.

- I watched this multiple times a day. I also kept busy with watching comedies, talking to friends, etc.

Once you hit 6 cm you're gonna slide. It's easy AF. You'll get there.

Good luck man.
