Personally I'd go number 2 as I'd prefer to have everything set up and secure before getting LL. While LL will change your life unless you are self employed companies won't be throwing
jobs at your feet just because you are 3 inches taller. Each year that passes you are competing with a new batch of graduates and young people entering the job market. Ideally you want a job where you can take extended leave and then once you return from LL you can slot back in and keep the money coming in.
