I'm at like 3cm now (could be closer to 2cm, not sure if my math is right), I wanted to ask you guys on what you liked to do in this scenario:
- you wake up at like 2 AM, your thighs are very sore and feel very stiff / feel harder
in fact that is how they feel every time I wake up from sleep now
usually eventually the thighs get softer/less stiff eventually but I'm not entirely sure the best way to get there
Usually, I just do some light quad and hamstring stretches, drink some water, do some light cycling and hope for the best
I am not keen on going to the shower to aim hot water at it, because I find it a bit difficult to get inside of the hotel's tiny shower area (need to fold the walker to get in and out, then need to somehow grab the shower chair to get it inside after, can't have the shower chair in shower area beforehand because there isn't much space inside the little shower area, usually the nurse hands me the shower chair at this point)
There is the option of using the massage gun, which does "wake up" the muscles temporarily but I am starting to wonder if the massage gun comes at a cost (ex: wonder if it is increases soreness later). I also don't consider montaza hotel's "hot" water to be "hot" -> its more like warm ish/a bit warmer than lukewarm
I mean I could take a tramadol I guess, or some paracetamol. At 2 AM, I'm not sure which would me fall asleep more, I'm assuming the tramadol?
TLDR:
So say you just woke up one night during gnail internal femurs, thighs are very sore and stiff
What are your go to actions next?
