Stretching frequency during internal femur LL
« on: October 08, 2022, 02:17:29 PM »

Idk I have sort of just been stretching at haphazard times, I wonder if I can make some improvements to this

doing gnail femurs now

Its sort of like-

do I feel a bit stiff? eh lets stretch my quad a bit, it doesn't take much to pull my heel towards my butt

am I at the edge of the bed? -> lets do the stretches that are easy to do while at the edge of the bed

am I about to do clicking? maybe I'll do some brief stretches and some cycling

did I just finish clicking? maybe i'll do some brief stretches or maybe I'll feel too much soreness/pain to do them and will do just some cycling

did I just get back from physical therapy -> brain and legs feel fried/very sore, don't feel like stretching, often I take a nap and then wake up .. and then ..

did I just wake up from sleep? -> legs are alot stiffer/harder/less responsive, lets just do either some small movements with legs, massage gun, light cycling, drink some water, some misc chores (brush teeth, refill water bottle, etc), take some painkillers, and then hope that the legs get less stiff and then I do some real stretches later when the legs feel less stiff

and I find myself frequently stretching for small amounts of time randomly throughout the day like this, but I am not sure if I am really doing this efficiently or not

I feel like the maybe hour or so right after waking up is the hardest, idk what it is but that time period the legs just feel so stiff and unresponsive it seems to make my mind question whether I want to do clicks that day. Eventually it gets better when I start the clicks but that 'after sleep' stiffness seems to be causing me alot of mental resistance to wanting to do clicks that day

What have you experimented with and found helpful?
