Good evening, as the title says, i'm a 163cm male and this caused a lot of suffering in my life, ll is a beacon of hope for me. I'd like to get to 170/170,5 so a lengthening of 7/7,5cm in the femurs.

My measures are:
Sitting height : 85cm measured sitting on the floor with back pushed to the wall as much as i can, it is measured correctly? (i have a mild case of kyphosis with anterior pelvic tilt that i'm trying correct)
Wingspan: 165cm (maybe this is the most worrysome measure, i don't want to lenght arms)
Inseam: 73cm
Can't measure tibia/femur ratio because i don't have xrays but my femurs always looked short because i have very thick legs even without training)

Do you guys think that at 170cm/(5'7) i would look off or weird with these measures? My torso looks short to me but i think that i will respect the 49/50% sitting height to height ratio

I'm exactly 169cm and my sitting height is 83cm, so don't worry about it.
As long as your wingspan is still below 3 inches of difference you'll look fine. This forum has regularly people with 4-5cm of negative natural wingspan difference, which is 1.75-2 inches. And people up to 4 inches difference exist, although I don't suggest it.

I've never seen you, however I've done 7cm mockups to myself, and it looks good enough.
I'm not gonna lie, you won't be perfect proportions anymore, but you will not look like a t-rex.
I suggest you do a mockup.

PS:some people have short arms but wide shoulders which widens the wingspan but looks worse after lengthening, and some have narrow shoulders but long arms which is the opposite)

I dont know where you are from, but 163 is brutal, and I would rather choose to have a slight disproportions, than to be sub 170. Go for quad if you can, it will help to stave off some of it

Ty for your answer, yeah probably it's better to look a bit disproportionate but taller than be very very short like me, maybe you can hide the small arms with some biceps training so they look bigger and less child-like. I'll look on how to do a mockup and maybe post it here.

I'm from italy (average 177cm). Yeah it's brutal, my main problem is not dating but to be considered like a man among others and not like a child or an handicapped. I can't do quad unfortunately, i don't have the money and can't afford to lose more than 1 year of my life being crippled on a wheelchair. Also i'm totally sure that with quad i'd look like a trex or a midget on stilts.

Search height Journey in YouTube, he's an Asian American man, he did around 168-169 to 180 cm with quad.(7.5 femurs, 3.2 tibias)
If you think he looks fine, then you'll know you'll look even better without over lengthening.

A guy here did 8cm on femurs and says he hates his proportions, so please be careful when deciding and doing your measurements, it's not a game.

Wow thanks for suggesting me that channel, very useful. I think that he looks a bit weird after doing tibias because of his short torso, but i'm a relieved that i could do 7cm without looking weird

Height Journey in one of his videos who was 168.5 ish to begin with, said that if he lengthened more than 8.4 cm on his femurs which isn't even safe or possible with Precice, he would by then look off for the average person to notice. So if your're 163 cm to begin with even tho this is still an individual case based on your current leg length, your're probably going to be fine as long as you keep it at 7 cm. Here is a thread were people discuss why doing 7 cm instead of 8 cm on femurs usually makes more sense, is more safe and recommended by multiple surgeons:

http://www.limblengtheningforum.com/index.php?topic=75056.0

Conclusion: Don't play with fire and risk your long term health for minimum gain in height that nobody can notice - 1 cm

Another thing that I need to mention is that it depends on what area your're from in Italy and according to most websites the average is 174 cm for an average man in Italy. In generel as long as your're within the average so about 169 cm - 179 cm your're considered average and not short.

You'll look fine with 8cm on femurs, especially if they are already short.

I finally managed to do the mockup, what do you think? I think i look better because of my weird big but short thighs

This is me now: https://i.postimg.cc/htMcpwDg/Picsart-23-09-17-23-19-15-672.jpg

This is with 7cm on the femurs: https://i.postimg.cc/tgTyf5J6/Picsart-23-09.jpg

In my opinion it looks even better with a 7-8 cm more on your femurs!
