So we know that tibia internals always has a chance of causing chronic knee pain.  Even outside of LL, any sort of nailing of the tibia through the knee can cause chronic knee pain

My question is, what is this chronic knee pain like for the majority of people that get if?

Is it a constant pain you will always feel 24/7?

Do you feel it when you do basic things like walking, sitting, standing up, laying down etc?

Or do you only feel it when you kneel and squat and put the knee under pressure in those positions?

There a lot of studies on chronic knee pain after tibia nailing but they don’t seem to suggest how bad the pain is and when it is felt?
