Retrograde Femurs vs Antegrade
« on: March 22, 2023, 04:51:19 AM »

Do any doctors recommend Retrograde over Antegrade for femurs? My understanding is you are likely to have better alignment with retrograde but it is likely to give you knee issues similar to nail insertion for tibias.

retrograde is usually used if your femur bone angle is too crooked for the nail to come from the top, meaning you can lengthen a few cms less with retrograde.
