Things you should NOT do prior surgery

Hi! Is there things you should absolutely NOT do prior surgery(1-3 months prior)?

Like taking medications etc?

Going thorugh detox at a medical spa hotel or getting a nose job, would that be a risk factor for anything?

Smoke
Drink alcohol
Use illegal drugs
Take medications your doctor tells you to avoid
Procrastinate with what you should do
