Hi guys, I am meant to fly to turkey tomorrow and I am extremely scared now.

Anybody who has done Lon tibia up to 6cm is okay for me to contact them and ask them questions?  I am female, and only planning to do 6cm or 5, and I was wondering stuff like how fast you could “walk” even if slow, but it still looks normal.  And questions about the whole process too.  Also curious about the scars it leaves for tibia.

I would be forever grateful if I had some people that let me chat with them, I already read through every single thread on this forum and realised I would only feel better if I spoke to some of you.

Hello, my "plan C" (3rd choice, I explained why in the post "Fired(...)") is also LON, 6 or 6,5 cm in tibias. But if I don't get enough money in 2022 for "Plan A" and "Plan B", "Plan C" becames probably reallity since I cannot delay LL much more time..
So, I would also appreciate contributions as shortbutstunning is asking. But in my case it can be here, no need to chat privately. Maybe here it  brings benefit for more people, but I understand shortbutstunning
may prefer or need not to disclose during hes LL process.

Thanks, I hadn't realised you did LON. I have many Pubmed articles with that knee pain concern and they all around between 2006-2012. I don’t know if things simply got better since or LON is itself less practiced. But in a certain extent, the problem seemed, or still seems, common between all nailing methods in tibias. Of course, as always, surgeon competence, active physiotherapy and time seem to help.
I will probably then make some questions, thanks again.

I was planning on doing LON on the tibias, but I've grown a little bit wary of it for that reason.
