I would think that 6.5 should be safe.  My advice is to be aware of it and monitor it during the process.  I couldn't because my tibia nails were not weight bearing and after I did the femurs I could barely use the walker so I didn't really have a chance to analyse myself.

There were certain outfits I would wear that brought it to my attention- also while nude- so naturally I did the research and decided go through with it.  But because arm lengthening is done in the humerus I am being very conservative to maintain a balance between a satisfactory arm length and not making the humerus appear too long.

I haven't really decided if I'm going to chronicle it. I think eventually I can outline the important points during the journey. I read that Apo caught a lot of flack for doing it and deleted his diary so I was apprehensive about opening up to the board. Ultimately I didn't want to lead a bunch of members to do both segments without being aware of my decision.

I'm 3 weeks in.

Please be careful!

Finishing school before doing surgery. Most likely to just do tibias to become at least 170cm.

How is the process compared to LL? Easier or harder?

I don't think anything will top the torture of my femur surgery + tibia correction / nerve release. But I'd say it's more painful than Tibias and much more limiting. You need your arms and it's really tough to move them when broken. I was told by the doctors this surgery would be much easier than what I'm experiencing so I'm not sure if it's my bad luck or they were bs ing me. Most of the pain is concentrated around the bone break site. I have a follow up Tuesday so I'll be able to ask wtf it's so Painful when they said it would hardly be.

What is the lengthening rate? Btw, I think that since you did less than 6cm on your fems, you shouldn't do more than like 2.5 or 3cm max...

1mm a day. I'm going to see if lowering it to .75mm a day helps with the pain. My goal is 3-4cm. I'm keeping a very close eye on it to make sure I'm happy with the result.

With 3-4cm per humerus, will be the new wingspan equal to your new height of 176.5?

at 4cm it will be .5 cm off.  Part of wingspan is your shoulder width and hand length which of course isn't likely to be equal to someone at my new height.  Arm length is a better indicator.

hmm interesting. Thanks for the info. If I may ask, did you consult with Paley on this matter?

Iamready,
If you had done +4cm in tibias and +4cm in femurs (so 3,5cm less than the final gain of 11,5cm you reached), do you think that you would have still needed the humerus lengthening, while looking at your self nked in front of the mirror?
I mean, if someone has a starting body like yours, same measures, do you suggest to stop at which limit in order to keep in balance the new height with the arm length?
Of course if this limit is 8cm, it would be the best idea, as you have done, to split this amount between 2 segments, but this will involve 2 surgeries and a lot of money and time and pain. So as you have stated, if you do 1 surgery, go for femurs and stop at 6.5cm, better at 5cm. Am I right?

wow man! Im very surprised!
Please dont hesitate to share your lengthening because of Apo example. The reason of bad reactions were probably related to his other crapy stuff.(I dont know much about him but you know, he has so many haters around.)
You are a nice guy.Specially your videos were informative and entertaining to watch. So there is nothing for you to worry about.
Besides even if you were a guy like apo its really not any one's fcking business you know? Its your life, you can do what ever you want while ignoring the comments from some judgemental douchebags.

Ok first off I would like to apologize to Krp1 for hijacking this thread.  It wasn't my intention, nevertheless I should have introduced this topic in my diary.  I will answer your questions in my diary.

Krp1's original post: Hello guys, i did around 7cm in femurs with fitbone internal nail. Before surgery my legs were short , my sitting height was 91cm  for 165, after surgery i have normal/short legs. I know that many people think about proportions , after this amount of lengthening i look perfectly normal and im very confident that i could do 5 cm in tibias and look normal too, with my legs a little bit in the long side, your arms are only going to look short if you do like 7 or 8 cm over your armspawn . the conclusion is that if you are short you could do more cm than you imagine and look perfectly normal, short people almost always are short legged,  dont think that much in proportions, because there is no worse disproportion than being short.

I want to say that I agree with his statements.  My arm span was only 66 inches compared to my starting height of 65 inches.  My final height is 69.5 inches and at this point I never once received a disparaging comment towards  proportions, on the contrary, everyone I told about the surgery was surprised how good I looked.  I even went so far as to grill my friends on my arms when they were drunk to get an honest answer.  My reasons for getting arm lengthening were personal and his statement that the height you gain from limb lengthening is worth the slight "disproportion" is correct at least in my experience.  I went out several times before my humerus lengthening and my world is absolutely changed for the better.

Please ask any questions in my diary if you have them and once again I apologize to Krp1 for using his thread as my reveal; it was wrong of me.
