I'm in LA area and Shahab Mahboubian is the only available.  Has anyone used him?  I'm concerned about his reputation, but i dont have much choice. I also have the following questions about the surgery:

1. Shahab Mahboubian said doing the surgery on the Femur is safer, for anyone who has done both on the Femur and Tibia, which one is less painful?

2. The video shows the patient has to adjust 6 structs on daily basis based on some computer printouts. Is it possible to screw up the leg if the patient adjust the number on the wrong struct?

3. For anyone who has done the femur, if there is no complications, how soon can you get back to normal activity such as driving, walking normally, returning to desk office tasks?  I'm a programmer, so I dont need to stand all day.

I also live in California and was considering him but then the more I researched the more sketchy he seemed. I'm gonna go with paley I think even tho it's gonna be a lot more expensive and inconvenient. :/
