Anyone done 2x lengthening?
« on: August 26, 2021, 05:49:24 AM »

I'm 5'6 and very proportional so I look taller.. I want to reach 5'10 which is for sure possible thanks to this surgery and I have a 5'9 wingspan so I wouldn't look like a t-rex but I would rather do 5cm on femur and 4cm on tibia to look more proportional, or should I just do 8cm on femur?

Hi, the ideail Tib/Fem ratio is 0.8, I had close to this ratio b4 8cm Femoral LL, now I have ~ (38cm/56cm)=0.68 ratio - this is quite obvious to me in the mirror, so I prefer to wear longer shorts/swimmers in public. My T/F ratio slso feels "off" to me if I attempt to run and certainly I feel unstable whilst squatting.
I am considering Tib Cll to improve my T/F aesthetic ratio and hopefully my athletic performance as well.
TLDR - I think its a good idea to lengthen all segments and maintain T/F  ratios if possible.
