Something Positive

Although athletic ability will most likely never be fully back to pre-surgury this is confined to the legs. I am actually unable to run/work out my legs right now due to a recent scar correction surgery as working legs out too soon would thicken the scar. I look great upper body.

If your athleticism is not completely focused on lower body, then you will be fine to wait a few years to then have more time/healing under your belt for legs, while continuing to build the upper body

Just food for thought and try to be positive on here since I usually visit this site when I'm really going through height neurosis bad

Also it really doesn't matter unless you're an elite athlete anyways.

The main concerning thing about CLL is chronic pain and overall long term health of legs, not the slight loss of athleticism.
