Question For Those Who Have Done Tibia Lengthening

I am planning to do tibial lengthening and deformity correction in the fall with an American doctor using an internal nail. The doc presented me with a couple of options, including doing one leg at a time (since the nail is non-weight-bearing). I have a couple of questions for people who have already lengthened their shins. Please PM me.
