Scars with Salamehfix/ TSF
« on: December 11, 2018, 05:04:46 PM »

So I really want to have a clear picture of how the scars would be with Salamehfix frames or TSF with Dr Giotikas? I’m 4’11 but otherwise attractive & good figure so even 5-6cm for me would suffice. I had been considering Precice of LON but have read on various posts this may lead to knee pain & damage.

I am barely 45 kgs so want to know will I still need crutches with all methods? The only thing that puts me really off the external method is the scars- esp being a lazy. besides the discolouration are they also indented? I want a really true picture of what it might look like. Dr Salameh said the 3 bear the knee would be 6mm and that seems like a lot:/

Why don't you ask Dr Salameh if you can meet or talk to a previous patient of his?

I think I’d want longer legs over thighs, longer legs look nicer on girls. ..plus I hear that tibia hurts less than femur, and you have more control over mobility.

Both TSF and Salamehfix got very thick screws going thru calf muscles and bones
Then since no IM nails you have to stay with the frames very long period even if it’s only 6cm
Salameh may not allow you even 6cm
Scars will be quite big, deeply dent and visible
For girls it will be hard to wear short skirts due to these scars
Better wait till you have enough fund to do internal Stryde femurs or Stryde tibias

They're called pins, not screws, because they're pins, not screws.  They're not thick and they don't go through the muscles, only the skin and bone.
