weight lifting while lengthening

Hello everyone, I am planning to do femur lengthening with Precise Stryde with Dr. Paley sometimes after the busy season. Most likely around end of April or beginning of May so the hotel rates are not so expensive. Few questions:
1. Am I able to go to the gym for upper body weight training during the lengthening?
2. when is a good time frame to get back in the gym for upper body weight training?
3. When can I can i start lower body work out such as leg extensions, hip abductors, calves or squats?
