Doing femurs this upcoming week with Dr Paley and I live about 1.5 hours from west palm, based on past experiences when were you able to sustain time in a car assuming you had a driver? I only need to be in west palm for an hour a day to do physical therapy so if I am able to I would like to be home and not a hotel and drive in for PT.

Thanks

for the first 2 weeks i needed a wheel chair, was just too much to sit down and stand up.

i had a wheel chair service take me to an back from my home. After 2 weeks you will be on a walker, and can do taht just fine, assuming you have a driver.

1.5 Hr drive is not going to be an easy task at all bro! but you can do it, my first drive home after surgery when I got discharged was 40 minutes and it's painful bro you must pop a norco or whatever strong pain killer they give you right before the car ride, you'll feel every bump and turns in your legs with pain. after that you'll be ok to be in a car for that long not comfortably really every but manageable, also after about 4CMs I had to put my legs on top of the dash touching the windshield because otherwise I'd get sharp pain on my shin from having my knee bent for so long, that's the only way I could imagine ever going on 1.5 Hr car drives from my experience if I had to do it again
