Tibia vs femur
« on: October 03, 2019, 06:14:35 PM »

Hi guys, my question is simple.
I think i will do femur with Dr Baumgart but something perturb me
When i take the measures of my tibia from the floor to the high of the patella i have 48,5 cm and when i take measures from the wall against my Hip to the front of the patella my fémur is 52cm (im 1.60cm) , so if i do 6 or 7 cm lengthen on my fémur what will happen about my look, would i be disprortionned? And would i have to make tibia later ? I know i have long tibia than my fémur but with 6 cm more what happen? Is femur lenghtening really Beneficial for beauty of the body or would i look like a strange thing  :-\ .
Thx to all , love you.
Ans sorry for the english im french 😂

I think you measured it wrong.  Firstly, tibias are measured from the lower knee.
Secondly, the total length of the legs (100.5 cm) looks implausible with a height of 160. Most likely, femurs are also measured incorrectly.
What is your sitting height?

I dont know how to get good measures, my question concern the proportions between Tibia and femur , somebody Can tell me whats happen when you take 6-7cm on only one segment (fémur) and nothing on the other(tibia) , will my legs look beautiful ans elegant or not ? Is that acceptable about proportions of legs ?
And please how Can i get good measures 😃

Only correct way to measure is by taking x-rays and ask the radiologist/doctor to mark on it your tibia..femur length.

I agree but that's not the goal of this topic, my question is what is the better choice between Tibia and femur in terme of beauty of legs and if i do only one segment (and no fémur + tibia) is that a problem about THE PROPORTIONS OF MY LEGS ? 6 cm more in a fémur which is normally proportionned about tibia at the beginning --> strange legs ?
Thx

Everyone has their own preferences. And the initial proportions are different for everyone. Take a photo in your underpants and lengthen in program Paint the tibias first, and then the femurs.  Then you can evaluate the approximate result.
