Hello you all... this is my first post, but first of all i must congrant you for how supportive you are to each others. When it comes to my measures, and even knowing that i might still grow 2 or 3 cm, i am currently 1,65m and my weight is 60kg. My wingspan is 1,68 and my sitting height is 0,88m. Do you think I'm suitable for a 6 or 7cm leg lenghtening? Thanks

Yes, I think you are.  Even though your wingspan will be slightly shorter than your height, it's not by much.

I also think that the shorter your starting height, the more noticeable any amount of height increase is.

That might explain it, going from 5'8 to 5'10 is a larger increase percentage wise compared to going from 5'10 to 6'0.

in other words going from 5'10 to 6'0 won't alternate proportions as much as going from 5'8 to 5'10

I went from 5'8 to 5'11 and people don't think I had LL even if I tell them.

There you go, thats my wing span. Thats an XL t-shirt, I have a wide torso frame but not tall i think. My sitting height varies between 90-93 during the day, may be due to bat posture or i can't legitimately measure my sitting height correctly. Thats my biggest concern!

P.S. sorry for the poor picture quality (i used my phone) and the light wasn't great aether.

You look fully proportionate as one should.

Go and hit the gym, you look weak.
But be careful in the bench press, I see that you can hyper extend your arms.

sorry for the math fail there, but lets say a 5'8 guy compared to a 5'10 guy, i have noticed that the difference between them seem to be bigger in overall size compared to when i have seen 5'10 guys standing next to 6'0 guys.

THe reason i think is because after a certain height threshold, the rest of the body parts dont get much bigger in size, or at least not to the same degree as it does for people between 160-170 cm.

For example, most 5'10 guys i have seen tend to have similar size heads to people who are around 6'0, of course with some exceptions. while at 5'8 or below, they always seem to have significantly smaller hands and heads etc, shorter arms.

im generalizing but in my opinion this tends to be the norm.

Lol it's all good man. You do bring up a good point that the shorter 5'8ers sometimes have smaller bodies so the difference from 5'8 to 5'10 may seem larger than 5'10 to 6'0 but I also think it has to do with their height in relation to the average . For example when I wear 1 inch lifts and go to clubs at 5'8 I feel and look small if I were to take a picture of myself, because the average people around me seem to be about 5'10. However when I put on boots I put together to take myself from 5'7 to 5'11, I look relatively tallish because my head is a bit higher than most.

Going from 5'8 to 5'10 brings your eye level and head to about where everyone else is at so it seems to be a big deal, whereas 5'10 to 6'0 is icing on top as now you are above average height people and may occasionally be called tall, though my opinion is that solid tall starts at 6'1 but that is off topic and that number is completely debatable depending on the average height of where you live.

Cheers my friend. :)

Yeah for sure youre right, 5'10s and 5'8s are both pretty common in the west, so its easy to see the comparison between them often. While 6 feet and up are more rare, also the guys whose features start to get significantly bigger than 5'10 guys, ie the 6'2+ guys, are very rare in comparison.  :P

and that chart is hilarious xD

Oh my gosh, that chart is too funny, though for you shorter guys please don't take it seriously, getting to an averagish height of 5'8-5'10 is still amazing and shouldn't prevent you from getting girls, the graph is a bit of a joke!!

Isn't that because most 6'0 aren't actually that height?

It has to be said though that the UFC very often gets the height of their fighters wrong, and often change their official heights, im not sure if they are unable to measure it correctly or if the fighters lie about it. probably the former.

Also in that specific pic we cant see if one of them is wearing shoes or flip flops (or some footwear) and also one of them might be slouching more than the other. the real visible difference of 2 inches should be bigger than that picture suggests imo.
