One thing my parents did for me before they passed away was instill attributes inside of me; one of which being that I show respect to the likes of others. They, by example, demonstrated class, integrity, character and empathy for other people. It was the mission of my parents to do all they could for their family, friends and others in need. I was truly blessed to have the great parents I had and I wouldn't change a thing about myself; if that meant that my parents were anyone other than who they were. It's rare, especially these days, that a man can sit back and say that the heroes of his life were his very own parents. I'm a very lucky man and I realize that I'm blessed beyond measure. :-)
Thank you for all the great support guys and I look forward to continuing to update the community with my CLL experience. I want to do all I can to enrich the minds and curiosity of others who might go forward with this special, but very difficult challenge. I know for a fact that everyone has it in them to get through this; but there is no wrong decision when it comes to going forward with CLL or not. Go forward with what your heart is telling you.
Have a great night guys and I'll be back with another update on my journey at some point tomorrow evening.
