If you planning to have a leg lengthining operation in Dr.Barinov's clinic this year (2017) you have opportunity to get the old price for external lengthening- 12500 euros with one month living with provision.

And email I got from her with more details.

Hello ERIC!!!
I can't say anything about prices in 2019.But i'll try to do everything for getting you the best price for that time.
Some information for you.
The operation is performed on both legs at the same time and has 3 stages.
1.  Operation. During this time a special orthopedic device is fixed on both legs, then osteotomy (bone cut) is done, and bone fragments are fixed with the device.
2.  Distraction. Gradual lengthening of the limb. It begins approximately 1 week after the surgery. The rate of distraction, i.e., the rate of extension is 0.75-1 mm per day and depends on individual endurance to the procedure by the patient. Thus, the period of distraction by 5 cm takes 50-70 days.
3. Consolidation (fixation). At the end of distraction the period of fixation is started, which lasts approximately twice as long as lengthening.
Rehabilitation period after LL surgery.
Patients are gradually increasing load on the legs and begin walking without crutches halfway through the fixation period. We have developed a set of rehabilitation exercises to help our patients quickly regain their muscle strength and return to the normal daily activities. The patients can walk with crutches as soon as 2-3 days after the surgery. In general, lengthening by 5-6 cm takes 5-7 months. The maximum recommended height limit is 8-9 cm depending on the stretchability of muscle tissues and the original height of the patient. During treatment the patient should remain at the clinic under medical supervision. Only in this case we can guarantee a successful result. Outpatient treatment is possible during the fixation period at the discretion and with an approval of the doctor. Our patients can return to their normal daily activities 2-3 weeks after their discharge from the clinic. During rehabilitation, swimming and moderate amount of walking are recommended for more expedient recovery. Some weight-bearing exercises and light sport activities may be resumed 2-4 months following discharge from the clinic. The post-surgery scars are barely noticeable and become practically invisible with time.

LON -lengthening over nail.
In this case, during the surgery the intraosseous rod and the Ilizarov apparatus are immediately installed together. The Ilizarov apparatus is used for distraction of the bones. After the ending of lengthening, the intraosseous rod is locked with a medical screw under the x-ray through a small incision and the Ilizarov apparatus is removed. The nail is removed from the bone after a complete fusion. Generally, this is not earlier than 1 year from the start of consolidation. Elongation in this manner may be limited to 5-6 cm.
LATN-
lengthening and then nail.
With this method of operation, elongation is produced by the classical scheme according to Ilizarov. Then, at the end of distraction, the Ilizarov apparatus is removed and the blocking intramedullary nail is set into the bone for fixation. This nail is fixed to the bone until a complete fusion. The nail is removed from the bone after a complete fusion. It is not earlier than 1 year from the beginning of consolidation. After removing the nail, the patient will able to walk without crutches.
I can't tell you any period of time because it is a medicine and it does not guarantee.
Patients can walk with crutches as soon as 2-3 days after surgery. In General, lengthening to 5-6 cm takes 5-7 months. Maximum recommended ceiling height of 8-9 cm depending on the elasticity of the muscle tissue and the original height of the patient. During treatment, the patient should remain in hospital under medical supervision. Only in this case we can have a successful result.
We had only one patient who did 10cm in 4.5 months. As a rule, the patients did their lengthening for 6 months or more. It depends on many things, your health, your wanting to achieve your best score, hardworking and so on.
Elongation of the legs is very difficult and quite painful process. You have to think a lot ,because the height is not important in our lives. But only you can decide that for yourself
Our price Lant- external lengthening + the operation with the nails.

This document was last updated August 2017.

32 lakhs, and for those not in India, that's 3.2 million INR (currently approx. $50,300 USD). That's a breakdown of 9 lakhs for surgery, 23 lakhs for the nails themselves.

Not sure about medicines, but I doubt it'll cost much since India makes their own affordable generics. And yes, you'll need to add accommodation and other costs on top of that.
