What is the safest amount and method to go with?
« on: April 17, 2016, 10:42:45 PM »

What is the safest amount to lengthen? I'm thinking about having my femurs and Tibias lengthened in the future. Which method of lengthening is safer for each bone? I'm very serious about having this procedure done, trying to figure out the safest way to do it.

Internals for femurs and externals for tibias. Don't go for more than 10 cm altogether. Do a maximum of 5-6 cm in femurs and 4-5 in tibias, depending on your proportions.

I have the same question as the author of the topic. I want to do it as safely as possible. I intend to lengthen 3cm in the tibia and 3cm in the femur. What are the safest places to perform each operation (external tibia and internal femur)? Regardless of price.

Internal Femurs: ideally Precise 6~8cm

See if you still have an appetite for Tibia

Tibia: 5cm

Listen to your body and respond accordingly.
