And you too you did not read me, i said that 180 cm is average for young men, how 2 cm above average is "at the end of the spectrum" ? Maybe in Asia, but not in France.
Maybe you live in a short country, your view may be different.

Hey, I apologize for the inappropriate tone. I usually don't speak in that manner. I was trying to demonstrate to another member that it "IS" okay to speak your mind freely on this forum without fear of getting banned. I'm not banned yet. So I was right!

I think 180 to 182 is the perfect height. Most male model statues are around this height. Even movie stars dream of being at this height. I don't know what you are trying to achieve by becoming taller. I don't think you'll gain anymore respect or admiration than what you already have now. However, for a guy who was below average to reach closer to average would mean that people will no longer put him down because of his height. And that's a bliss.

In your case, people would see you as a tall guy who becomes taller. It makes no difference. Even if 180 is the average height as you said. What's wrong with being 2.5cm taller than average. 5'9 is average here. Most people would feel blissful being average.

That's my opinion. But do whatever that makes you happy. I think you are just curious and doubt you will ever go through with this endeavour.

I think it is fairly obvious this guy is borderline trolling and came to brag while pushing his insecurities onto us.  He (even by his own admision) will never go through with the procedure.

Did internal femurs using the PRECICE2 with Dr. Donghoon Lee in South Korea on December 27th, 2013, went from 5'7.5" to 5'9.6".  Will probably end up doing tibias in about a year with Dr. Birkholtz to get to 5'11".

182.5cm,

Whether you are a troll or not is not my issue but in all honesty, do what you feel. Each person has their own reasons to want something and nobody has the rights to judge them. I can advice you though to wear elevator shoes when you go to work maybe?

Either way LL is not that safe but a few cms is safer than 8cm+

This is the only sensible post in this thread. If being taller makes him happy, then why not? He's also doing a safe amount of lengthening so the risk a very low.

Those who object to a man of his height having surgery are only objecting because they envy his height. You idiots want this guy to accept his insecurities just to make you feel better about your insecurities, which is a deplorable act of selfishness. You guys don't care about him, you only care about yourselves.

There is no such this a limit for leg lengthening and I challenge anyone to give this guy a valid reason not to have surgery. Just remember, being jealous of him isn't a valid reason, it just means you are an insecure loser.

Whether he's a troll or not, his post brings out the ugliness and pussiness in short guys. Anyone who get angsty because some stranger on the internet want cosmetic surgery, isn't entitled to call himself a man because they're nothing short of being a bitch. Only nancy-boys allow their insecurities dominate them like that.

I don't think it's worth doing LL at that height but if it's going to make him feel better, by all means he should do it and hope all the best for him. Why would anyone be jealous of a man one doesn't even know personally, living in some other part of the world? Him being 182 or 190 or 2 meters doesn't change anything in my life or anold forum member's life. We're only giving our personal opinion because he asked a question about it. Although some people thought he might be a troll, I don't agree, I think he's a normal person so I took his question seriously and gave my two cents.

A valid reason not to have surgery? Letting go of 3-4 months of your life, deliberately crippling yourself for a low marginal benefit. Now thinking about it again, if he has height dysphoria, he should do it and "cure it with the knife" as they say, but a man with an actual height dysphoria wouldn't ask about others' opinions, I think he would be 100% sure about doing LL.

Not sure if srs.

Height is not the most crucial element of attraction and it shouldn't be your staple of confidence - after you achieved near average height.

Facial aesthetics and personality matter more. Notice how all Hollywood heartthrobs are within average (US) height. Clooney, Depp, Cruise, Craig, Pitt, etc.... Average height guys also make better protagonists in movies and novels (I recently saw Pompeii and the main character was 172 cm). The fact is people (men and women) admire and love the average (height-wise) handsome Joe who has a heart of gold and doesn't take sh*t from anyone. Women say they like taller men because men nowadays are so god damn ugly with plain personalities that it's the only quality that separates most of them. I know from experience. A few years ago I got a 177 cm Czech model to ditch her 183+ cm bf of 3 years for me - and I didn't even touch her. How? Because her bf was a moron who treated her poorly and I reached straight for her soul. Oh, control of voice and language is also a very powerful tool. Notice the way someone like Clooney talks for example.

So if you don't feel confident at 6'0" then work on your face or personality some. It will be cheaper, less painful, faster, and you will gain more from it because you're obviously lacking in a department other than height.

If I were only 175 cm, I would not even think about doing this.   There is no upside to increasing height once you are 180-182 cm..
