Internals or externals? I also don't really want to spend more than 40,000. I would like to do the surgery on American soil as I'm from here but the fact that they change a fortune just because they're in America kinda turns me off. I have heard good things about Dr. Xia and Dr. Parihar. My main thing is recovery time/cost I don't want to be gone for so long but I would like to do tibias over femurs. I might possibly do two segments I am 5'7. I have heard people that don't go over 4-5 CM never really have problems afterwards as long as they go to a reputable doctor so yeah.

If u not wanting to spend more than 40k u definately not gonna do it in america. Dr. xia doesnt perform surgery any more but dr. aimin peng does and as for dr parihar if u go with him its mandatory to stay in india during lengthening [no way around that lol] and i too would suggest u do tibias over femurs. u dont want some long ass femurs and ur tibias not even touching the floor. 4-5 cm is a general rule but is isn't necessary in ur consultation to whoever u decide on they'll tell u whats best for u since theyre knowledgeable and will check out ur bone density. plenty of people have done 6-8cm without major complications but since ur starting height is 5'7 it isnt worth the chance

I'm actually about 5'7 and a half so yeah I don't want to do that much. Is Dr.Parihar the one who has ties with Paley? What's the recovery period for tibias if I only do 4 cm how about 5cm. I want a relatively short recovery period and not that big of a price tag and it should be feasible cause I'm not trying to lengthen that much.

If you want quick recovery then you need to do internal then 5 cm femur is not a issue but with external even with lon it will be a while to walk.

I would rather not do femurs, but I will if I have too. Can someone let me know the recovery for 4 CM - 5 CM tibia and 4-5 CM femurs if I did internal?
