I have pretty thick fail hair that can easily grow into a full-fledge beard. Like a stereotypical redneck or Middle Eastern man. However, I don't like growing it out too much because I don't really like the look of the beard, and it's a huge pain in the ass to cut.

I can grow a mustache, soul patch, and goatee. I usually shave the mustache and keep the others when I feel like having facial hair.

I can grow a full hipster beard, but it comes in bushy and curly so I don't like it.

I've had a mustache and goatee for years. It's easy to maintain, and I get quite a few compliments on it.

If I'm clean shaven, I get carded for cigarette's... >:(

I could grow a mustache at age 16 (but I looked like one of those 1970's porn stars), the beard/goatee came in too patchy until about age 25.

Since I'm on the shorter side and have a baby face, it's easy to look young and not get taken seriously. The goatee fixes that, as does a receding hairline. (never thought hair loss could be a blessing, but honestly it was)

Yeah, I have a baby face too so I keep some stubble on.

I can only grow a "beard" in these areas.

Hopefully I can grow a full beard in my 20s at least, I want to.

lol.

it will improve as you age into your mid-twenties. if you're really impatient and frustrated some Minoxidil might hasten it as some people report.

I can grow a nice beard in about a week. I've gotten many recent compliments that I look better with some facial hair. Completely clean shaven, I look significantly younger and almost too pretty lol

Can grow a full 'Mountain man' beard in 3 weeks. I look like either a surly, heavy drinking, rugged construction worker or commercial fisherman (wearing baseball cap) or a hemp clothing selling hipster (wearing toque) lol

just shave your beard weekly with razor, its will let your beard become thicker. If it didn't work then you have some option such as spray people used for growing hair. but in first two months its will not be even and a little ugly, then you cut and make your own style. if its not going to help then make a precice in your cheek lol

I've got good facial hair, but there are some patches on my face where I can't grow much. Irritating, I know.

It will improve. My facial hair tipping point came around 19-20.

When i was 16 i could only grow pedophile moustache.

You still have plenty of time, most of the people start to have some kind of beard around 20 yo.
